Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need a referral to book?
No. You can book directly without a referral. However, if you would like to claim a rebate through Medicare, you’ll need a referral and Mental Health Treatment Plan from your GP.
Can I claim both Medicare and private health for the same session?
No — you can claim one or the other, not both. If you have a valid GP referral, you can claim the Medicare rebate. If not, you may be able to claim a rebate from your private health fund, depending on your level of cover.
What does paying privately mean?
Paying privately simply means attending without a referral. The full session fee is paid on the day, and you may be able to claim a rebate from your private health fund.
Do you offer telehealth sessions?
Yes. Secure telehealth sessions are available for clients across Western Australia and interstate.
How long are sessions?
Standard therapy sessions are 50 minutes. Assessment sessions vary depending on the type and scope of assessment.
What is your cancellation policy?
At least 24 hours’ notice is required if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. Cancelled or missed appointments within 24 hours of the appointment time will incur a fee.
